1. Tell us about your startup and team – who are you, and what are you aiming to do?
My team’s project is EasyReno. We currently have two members in the team. I am the idea person who want to bring the idea to life. We want to create a better platform to simplify a homeowner’s renovation process. The services are easily accessible to the website we recently started developing—www.EasyReno.sg.

2. What brought you to JFDI Discover?
Since I pretty much have a good grasp on what the startup idea is and how we want it to be executed, we decided that JFDI Discover will help us know what it takes to get the startup to the next stage.

3. Why did you start this business?
We found an opportunity and decided that we can fill the gap in the current market that caters to modern-day homeowners.

4. What were some of the challenges you faced before joining JFDI Discover?
Personally, I would say that finding the right team member that you can work well with is crucial to plan and implement the project together.

5. How did JFDI Discover help your startup?
Since after we joined the program, it hasn’t helped much on our startup yet.

6. What was your favorite and least favorite aspect of JFDI Discover?
Our favorite aspect of JFDI Discover is we got to know more details about rolling out the project to the next stage. My personal least favorite aspect of JFDI Discover is that I have not received enough feedback so far, so I think it seemed more like an online lesson for me.

7. What is the one lesson you took away from JFDI Discover that you think other founders should know too?
We think understanding the lean canvas is very essential to any startup, and that this bit of information will surely help startup founders.

8. Where is your team planning to go from here?
After our learning experience in JFDI Discover, we plan to slowly roll out the project and get started.

9. Which resources do you look to for startup related advice? Have you read any books on startups?
We usually read about valuation basis and equity distribution for some startup and business knowledge. Other than that we have not read much books on startups as of yet.

10. What topics do you want us to write about?
We are interested in reading and learning more about connecting with skilled and technical people who dream to achieve something bigger together with other like-minded individuals.

11. Who would you recommend to Discover?
We would recommend JFDI Discover to friends who are exploring the possibilities of startups.

12. What was the biggest surprise for you coming out of the program?
Surprisingly, we have not experienced anything that genuinely surprised us after we finished the program.

13. How has doing a startup impacted your life?
A lot can be said how of doing startups can change your life. For us, it has been quite challenging because of the difficulties posed by constraints from the resources and manpower that we currently have.
